The HYCO Microboil Wall brings instant boiling water to any workplace or commercial kitchen, without the energy drain of keeping water hot around the clock. Rather than running constantly, it studies how people actually use it throughout the day, then powers down during quiet spells and switches back on ahead of peak demand — so hot water is always ready when someone needs it, but you're not paying for it when they don't.
Inside, a 2.84kW element brings the unit up to temperature quickly, while a stainless steel tank keeps every cup tasting clean rather than tainted by the tank itself. An autocalibration function keeps output temperature accurate over time, and a high flow rate means the unit can keep pace even in a busy break room or catering setup without a queue forming at the tap. A simple colour-coded ring at the base of the tap shows green for ready or red for heating, so you always know where you stand, and the internal electronics are built to maintain a steady hot water supply even while the tank is refilling after a heavy rush.
Day-to-day use is straightforward thanks to a two-way tap that allows precise filling of cups and mugs, with a lock-on setting for hands-free filling of larger items like cafetières. An illuminated warning stays lit whenever the unit is powered, and the whole thing is housed in a durable metal case designed to stand up to a busy commercial environment. Installation is simple.

Being WRAS approved it demonstrates compliance with the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations or Scottish Byelaws which require that a water fitting should not cause waste, misuse, undue consumption or contamination of the water supply and must be ‘of an appropriate quality and standard.
