The Dryflow Connect - Value
This dryer is a great price, performs well and can be installed in under 1 minute, creating fantastic overall value, especially for installers whose time is money!
The Dryflow Connect - Appearance
A simple compact design, nothing to get excited about, just unobtrusive and nicely put together.
The Dryflow Connect - Dry Speed
The manufacturer states 10-15 seconds. We found it consistently delivered between 14-16 second dry times.
The Dryflow Connect - Energy Efficiency
The energy efficiency of a dryer is measured by two things: rated power and dry speed.
The Dryflow Connect has a rated power between 0.4 kW (heater off) and 0.9kW (heater on). The energy consumption range of the unit is between 1.33 – 2.5 Wh per dry.
For context, the Dyson Airblade AB14 uses 4.44 Wh per dry, a traditional warm-air dryer uses 20-30 Wh, and the best available uses 1-2 Wh.
It is possible to dry 3750 pairs of hands for just £1, this is a 96% saving against paper towels!
The Dryflow Connect - Quiet Operation
The Dryflow Connect - Vandal Resistance
The Connect is ultra-compact, with a strong cover, anti-vandal screws, and no visible leverage points make it appropriate for almost any public washroom.
The Dryflow Connect - Life Expectancy
500-hour motor life is fine for low traffic locations in offices and primary schools. Most dryers have at least 800 hours these days so it is the major downside to the product.
Motors can be replaced and swapped out easily though without replacing the whole product. And the Connect is backed by Dryflow's Lifetime Guarantee.
The Dryflow Connect - Conclusion
The connect is the only ‘easy install’, plug in dryer on the market at this kind of price point, and for that reason we think it represents superb value for contractors and service companies who have to factor their time into the cost of everything they install.
It performs well, it’s very low cost to run and isn’t too loud. There is a lot to like at the price.
