The Franke F5E-Mix sensor tap connects to both hot and cold water via connecting hoses with integrated backflow preventer and strainers.

A convenient mixer lever is placed on this tap, allowing the user to choose the temperature they wish the water to be at.

The difference in models is a choice of battery or mains power source.

Made from solid brass, finished with a high-polished chromium-plating, this durable and vandal resistant tap will suit the most lavish of washrooms.

Equipped with an automatic hygienic flush which activates 24hours after the last use by default.

An anti-theft aerator and integrated flow regulator assist with a water saving flow rate of just 4.8 lpm at each use.

If you require additional functionality such as sensor range adjustment and tap run time, a bi-directional remote is available as an extra which allows for a number of parameters to be set and statistical data collection.

Using an Allen key at the mixer lever, you can set the maximum water temperature. The temperature can also be fixed and the mixing lever completely removed via a conversion set. Not only a great safety feature, but also allows control of energy savings.

For peak performance the recommended water pressure used is 3 bar. However, there’s a degree of flexibility to suit a host of locations with a minimum and maximum water pressure range between 1bar and 10bar.

For enhanced sanitary purposes, an automatic hygiene flush comes as default. This can be switched on or off. It activates after 24h of non-use with a flow running for 30 seconds after this inactive period to flush out any stagnant water. The settings of the hygienic flush, such as the activation period after non-use (hours) and the flow duration (seconds) can be customised via an optional extra remote control.

To prevent vandalism and misuse, the tap has an automatic shutdown after continuous sensor activation, which is 60 seconds as standard.
