The Mediclinics Speedflow Plus is one of the most energy efficient hand dryers available with the ability to run the unit at just 180W rated power, whilst only reaching 850W at maximum settings. Not only that, it complies with the ADAAG accessibility for public washrooms requirements as it has a depth of just 10cm.  Whilst being relatively low noise, it still has a manufacturer stated dry time of 10-12 seconds which means users won’t be hanging around to get their hands dry, ensuring traffic moves quickly through the washroom. A HEPA filter is included as standard which filters solid particles in suspension, improving air quality significantly. It’s a filter that traps some of the micro-particles contained in the air, such as: pollen, dust mites, fungi, etc. Furthermore, this cartridge also contains an activated carbon filtering medium that neutralizes odours and absorbs fumes and gases.

The adjustable settings of motor speed and heater element activation allow for customisation depending upon the requirements of the location. These settings allow for a noise level between 57-65 dBA (at 2M). The motor has been configured to have a soft start that extends its life and dampens noise when starting. The aluminium base pate incorporates acoustic dampening blocks to supress any mechanical vibrations on the wall.

For increased safety and reduction of misuse, the hand dryer will automatically stop after 3-5 seconds of a static object being placed in front of the adjustable distance sensor and after 30 seconds of continuous use.

The 4 mm thick strong and robust cast iron cover with white enamelled coating is fixed to the base via 2 safety screws which are removable using a Speedflow® supplied wrench giving enhanced vandal resistant properties.
