The maximum water temperature can be set at the mixer lever. The temperature can also be fixed and the mixing lever completely removed via a conversion set. This is a great safety feature, as well as allowing for control of energy savings.
The Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations or Scottish Byelaws require that a water fitting should not cause waste, misuse, undue consumption or contamination of the water supply and must be of an appropriate standard. The WRAS approval gained by this tap demonstrates complete compliance with this.
For peak performance the recommended water pressure used with this tap is 3 bar. However, there’s a degree of flexibility to suit a host of locations with a minimum and maximum water pressure range between 1bar and 10bar.
A hygiene flush clears out any stagnant water left in the system after a period of 24hours of non-use. This 10 second flow can be set on or off depending upon the location’s requirements.
The sensor can be programmed to detect either a static or a moving object. This allows for specific differences in washroom locations for things like reflections from washbasins.
The tap will show information such as status of the hygiene flushing and last flush-process in hours. Idea for facilities managers to monitor servicing requirements.
To prevent vandalism and misuse, the tap will only run for 60 seconds of continuous activation.
