It not only has a very solid build quality, it is energy efficient and has quiet sound levels. It does not give a noticeable increase in noise level when the hands are placed in the airflow. This unit is one of the fastest drying, lowest energy using dryers available in our quiet hand dryer range. Even at this low noise level, the shape of the nozzle provides a fast airflow which gives the user the perception they are using a more powerful hand dryer than they really are. Great for the user experience. At just 72dB it is still one of the quietest hand dryers on the market that can produce dry times of under 20seconds. An exceptional motor life to boot, this hand dryer is popular in locations like schools, offices, public attractions and motorway service stations. Technical Description
Die Cast aluminium body available in polished chrome, black or white finish with black ABS air outlet surround. A steel back plate and anti-tamper screws provides added security. Extended 6500 hour brush life with motor tested up to 17,000 hours before failure, which is up to 17 times longer than the industry standard. Class E, 150W motor produces 7100 rpm generating 100MPH airspeed. This will give around a 15-20 second dry speed. Quiet in operation at 72dB. Thermal protection on motor and heater element. The overall energy rating is 1.4kw utilising a 1.25kW heating element.

Why have I seen this product with a different dry time elsewhere?
We pride ourselves on strictly testing the majority of the hand dryers we sell to make sure you are getting true performance information. Where we haven't yet tested we will use the manufacturers guide.
In our experience only a handful of hand dryers can dry the hands satisfactory in around 10-12 seconds, and certainly none under 10 seconds.
