Our expert says: “The original Dyson unit is in its 3rd generation and still as popular as ever, delivering reliable high-speed drying over and over again. Although the noise level has been reduced over the years, we wouldn’t class this as a low noise unit, but the efficient Dyson digital brushless motor V4 provides one of the fastest dry times in the world. Our in-house testing showed it matched the performance of the Mitsubishi Jet Towel Slim and Vapordri, and was 1 second faster than the D-flow. Solid build quality, long-life motor, exceptional performance, HEPA filter and approval by reputable hygiene and safety boards, make these easy to install hand dryers suitable for places like food preparation areas, public attractions, large offices, public toilets, pubs, restaurants, sports stadiums, college/universities, motorway service stations, factories, hospitals and airports.”
For total peace of mind, Buy Dyson Airblades from Intelligent Hand Dryers and receive a 2 years on-site cover and 5 years parts as opposed to the standard 1 year on-site cover and 5 years parts. The AB14 has been re-engineered to give the same fantastic performance as the original Dyson Airblade yet reduce the sound output by 50% (5 dBA). Dyson have tested this unit based on the National Sanitation Foundation's Protocol P335 (NSF P335) so unlike most manufacturer's stated dry times, Dyson's specifications can be relied on. Our own in-house testing has also revealed that the AB14 is the fastest drying product on the market. The AB14 hand dryer can withstand extremely high levels of traffic (above 500 users per day). The AB14 Dyson Airblade DB has excellent anti-vandal features, quick dry times and superb reliability.
The AB14 Dyson Airblade™ DB is the third generation version of this game changing hand dryer. The Dyson digital motor V4 was seven years in the making - it's one of the world's smallest fully-integrated 1600W motors. It's the only hand dryer motor powerful enough to draw in up to 35 litres of air a second through a HEPA filter.
This long-life energy efficient motor is digitally switched at 6,000 times per second, making the high compression fan spin 90,000 times a minute, giving an airspeed of 430mph. There are only three moving parts, so there are no slip rings or carbon brushes to wear down.
This comes in a choice of grey, white or black polycarbonate-ABS finish. They are manufactured in Malaysia.

In our experience only a handful of hand dryers can dry the hands satisfactory in around 10-12 seconds, and certainly none under 10 seconds.
