*** Now with 7 years guarantee *** The Dryflow® Elite is an exceptionally long life, warm air dryer. It maintains the low noise output of a traditional dryer but dramatically cuts the dry time and energy consumption. It won’t ripple your skin but it will provide a quiet and thorough dry in a relatively short period. Essentially it is able to maintain a low sound level of just 71dB, even whilst in use, yet be relatively quick drying. This makes it suitable for locations like nursery and infant schools, libraries, theatres and office environments that can be affected by loud noises. It is the hand dryer of choice in Eureka National Children’s Museum. This modern and contemporary looking unit is just 10cm in depth, idea for limited space washrooms but also in disabled facilities where creating mobility space is essential.
With a motor life of 17,000 hours, this will more than able to withstand over 500 users a day and give years of reliable service. Although the impression is that the airflow is relatively moderate, the unique dual air outlet configuration uses warm air to surround the hands and when measured actually gives comparable dry times with hand dryers that feel more powerful. There is always a trade-off between fast motor speeds and reduced noise but although there are faster drying products on the market, the Dryflow® Elite will not leave the user feeling let down by the performance. The overall energy consumption is still relatively low considering the heater element is the main source of power so will not cost you the earth to run. If your particular requirements are a quiet hand dryer with a solid construction and good performance than this is perfect for you.
If the dryer offers you all the attributes you are looking for but you don’t like the appearance and/or you want more energy efficiency, please consider the new and more contemporary styled Dryflow® Elite II here.
This UK designed and assembled hand dryer offers the versatility of low noise operation and streamlined build making it ideal for vulnerable users such as school children, the elderly and the disabled. It is also suitable for quiet working environments, yet has an extended motor life that will cope with extreme daily usage; this unit has a fantastic balance between noise levels, dry times and energy efficiency.
Brushed stainless steel or white powder coated steel cover with black ABS side panels and air outlet with round moulded corners for extra safety. Air outlet has safety grill to prevent insertion of foreign objects. A steel back plate and anti-tamper screws provides added security. Extended 6500 hour brush life with motor tested up to 17,000 hours before failure, which is up to 17 times longer than the industry standard. Noise level 71 dB(A) @ 1 metre. Testing showed no additional increase in noise when hands were placed under dryer. The motor produces 8200RPM and 63mph air speed, which the manufacturer states a 17 second dry time, however we expect this to be around 20-25 seconds in reality. A rated power of 1.7kW utilises a heater element of 1.55kW.

We pride ourselves on strictly testing the majority of the hand dryers we sell to make sure you are getting true performance information. Where we haven't yet tested we will use the manufacturers guide.
In our experience only a handful of hand dryers can dry the hands satisfactory in around 10-12 seconds, and certainly none under 10 seconds.
