- A built-in check valve prevents hot and cold water from flowing back and forth

The mixing valve rotates clockwise to add more hot water to the mix or rotates counterclockwise to add more cold water until the desired temperature is reached.
A built-in check valve prevents hot and cold water from flowing back and forth.
