The Bobrick specimen pass through cabinet is a durable recessed storage unit with two doors that was designed to connect two rooms at labs and hospitals. B-50516 system allows to exchange biological containers quickly, safely and keeping patient's privacy. Thanks to the interlock, just one door can be opened at a time. Also note that each door, whose mechanism is composed by a push button, a door release and a knob, is secured to the all-welded cabinet through a piano-hinge. Should you wish to change the side of the handle, the manufacturer confirmed that one can just turn round the whole unit to the desired position without compromising the system. Furthermore, one of the wall flanges is adjustable, so that the item can be placed in walls from 76mm to 152mm of thickness.

This specimen pass through cabinet is made of a long-lasting metal, stainless steel, and finished with a soft, hard-wearing brushed satin surface. To ease cleaning, one can conveniently remove the 0.9 mm spillage tray. For more instructions on maintenance, we highly encourage you to read the tips in the documentation below (please avoid abrasive substances and scourers). Compliant with accessibility guidelines like ADA-ABA and ICC/ANSI A117.1, to open the cabinet only one hand is required, less than 22.2N of force and no need for tight grasping, pinching or twisting of the wrist.
